Disappointing Experience – Price Gouging & Poor Ethics I visited Boomerang Comics hoping to support a local business and expand my collection, but I left incredibly disappointed. The shop heavily marks up modern products — especially Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and — well above retail. I understand the market fluctuates, but charging 2–3x MSRP for in-print, widely available items feels like blatant scalping, not supply and demand. What’s worse, they pull desirable singles from sealed products and then price them at inflated "market" value, leaving shelves stocked with junk nobody wants. It’s clear they prioritize profit over the collector community. Staff were indifferent when I asked about fair pricing or restocks, and I got the sense they knew exactly what they were doing. There are plenty of shops (and online stores) that treat collectors with respect and don’t take advantage of hype. I won’t be returning here and can’t recommend this store to anyone looking for an honest or welcoming experience.

Good selection of comics and the employees were nice. They have some trading cards but the prices are near-scalper level for sealed product and the singles pricing were all over the place. I'd recommend only going here for comics and other collectibles, not recommended for trading cards.
Staff here are approachable and knowledgeable. They can help you whether you're brand new or if you've been a collector for years. Amazing selection of back issues that are constantly being refreshed and there's always something new to look at. All books are priced fairly with industry trends in mind and they're upfront about their pricing decisions when asked. Overall, well maintained store with friendly staff and an amazing place to learn something new!
