I have been playing Magic since 1994 and love the game but have been put off of live events because of overly competitive environments and toxic attitudes. This is a game that I love, a hobby that relaxes me and that is what I LOVE about Cards and Stripes. My sons and I played in the War of the Spark prerelease event and had one of the most positive tournament experiences I have ever had. The owners were great and friendly, the players were all positive and cordial. The environment at the store is what made this a great and memorable experience that was still competitive and fun. I would recommend this store for Magic, D&D, and board games (they even rent board games). I cannot say enough positive things about this store, the owners, and the community.
These guys are the best. They are super friendly and always treat my kids like gold. They always find "something extra" for them. They staff are knowledgeable and attentive, and they are more than happy to special order stuff as needed. It's a great place to hang out and play games, or meet friends. Looking forward to their new, bigger space
Great selection of teen to adult board games. Super friendly staff! Best thing ever is THEY RENT BOARD GAMES! You can pay like $3-4 bucks and try a game out for a week. Definitely going back! They have various game nights every week, check out their schedule on facebook. If your looking for a place to buy or play board games look no further.
