No new comics. No selections. Inventory was probably 100 individual comic book issues on their wall, most of it 3-5 years old. Worst part was the old man owner heckled me not to read the comics before I bought them. Needless to say, I had gone in to browse & buy some comic book issues but I put that comic back on the rack and purchased nothing. I’ll never waste time nor money in that store again.
Second time going here and I got the same experience. No acknowledgement from those running the store, just like last time. The entire time, talking about personal drama with a person at the counter again. Couldn't take a break to even say hello. This time, a woman who runs the place made derogatory statements about those who vote for a certain political party. At that point, my wife and I left since she probably doesn't want our business.
Great for a small shop in a small town. I’m really glad it’s here and hope it stays around. It’s going to be pricier than buying from any big name store. Usually browsing the store and having a friendly conversation with the employee can help make up for that. They always have a couple different sets of Pokémon and Yugioh card booster packs which I normally treat my self with when I’m walking around downtown.
