I went to DVG St. Louis Park to play Dungeons & Dragons. The room was well lit. Tables and chairs adequate. The noise level from the very young players at the next table was a bit high. They get excited playing d&d and at that age kids don't really know how to manage sound levels when they are excited. D&d is really an all-ages game. I'm 65, I think the next table's age range started at about 8 or 9, with lots of adult supervision. A little hard to hear our own game, but it's nice to hear little kids excited and happy. The stock on display looks like it would be great for someone who is into Warhammer. The Minneapolis location seems to have a wider selection of games. Both have a good selection of dice and other D&D accessories, paintable miniatures, and comic books.

DO NOT BUY BULK from this store. I have bought bulk previously at other stores as I find they are good to get a bunch of cards for my friends to build a cheap deck when they are first getting into MTG. I bought bulk at this store expecting a similar experience to other stores; 1000ish cards with some cards having 30ish duplicates, not 1000 cards with 20 different cards total in the box. I received nearly 200 of the same non-basic land card (Wind-Scarred Crag). My interaction with the staff wasn't much better either, I had asked one of the staff members for a common rarity card that I know is typically hard to come by as it's highly sought after (slime against humanity), without moving from her spot she said no we don't have that card in a very rude tone. She also rudely told me that I should've first looked at their online inventory to see if they had the card. I would have looked at the online if I knew how to get to it, if you go to their website over half of the buttons don't work including the trading card singles one at the bottom of the home page. Nicely enough one of the other staff walked over and actually looked for the card without me having to ask him. I understand that some cards are hard to come by but it would've been nice to see some sort of effort put into looking for the card. The only reason I am giving this review a 2 star and not 1 is because this store had a overall good selection of product for its size.
