Disappointed they didnt have more train supplies and products but its more of a remote control toy shop...understandable for the area. Plenty of RC kits, parts, and ready to run items...better location than in Myrtle...hopefully they can make it last here.
I've been wanting to check out this place for a few weeks after discovering a new hobby, and they had a section and displays for the things I like to work on. While inside, they were determined to help me assemble a part I was having extreme difficulty with (a model im doing at home) and they made it happen. They were friendly and helpful. (I think I left a screw on the counter but I made it work anyway). Now I know I've got a place in Conway when I want to expand my hobbies. Thanks guys
Visited 5/17/25. I wasn't sure I was going to find a hobby store still in business based on the Google Street View picture, but I decided to take a chance and ride up there to take a look at what they had. Traxxas had sent me a list of local hobby shops and Beach RC is pretty much just an online warehouse operation now since they shut their large store and racetrack down a couple months back. I needed a Magnum 272r transmission and Ed's website said they had it in stock. So, up I went, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a large and well stocked hobby store. The gents working that day were all super nice and I had the part I needed in two minutes. But there was no way I was leaving that place that fast! So, I took a gander around to see what they had. Lots of ways to get yourself in hot water with the significant other back home, that's for sure! 🤣 I have a mental wish list and will be planning to head back in the near future.
