EE Comics & Games
The store is clean, well-kept, and has a solid selection of games for the small size of the building. The games are priced fairly based on market value. The woman at the counter was polite and friendly for most of my experience; however, when I went up to the register to purchase my games, I went to remove a game from the cellophane slip-cover to inspect the condition of the manual. She became a bit upset that I did so, stating that "you're not supposed to remove the game until after purchase" and "it says B.I. (boxed instructions) on the sticker." Yes, I am fully aware that the sticker tells me the manual is inside, but what if I was unhappy with the condition of the manual? Am I to blindly go through with the transaction, then come back into the store after removing the games from the cellophane if I'm unhappy with the condition of the manual/inserts? What if there's water damage, pages missing, etc.? That response rubbed me the wrong way, and I've never experienced that at the Booth's Corner location, or any of the other local game stores in the Greater Philadelphia area. All in all, my experience was mostly pleasant, and I'm happy with my purchase.
