Reliable mailboxes at a good price. Customer friendly service
I had an Amazon return while traveling and it listed Frames and Things as return location. They are not set up to just scan the code so you will need to print out your return label. I didn’t know that or have a way to print while traveling, but they were able to walk me through the process quickly, emailed the return label to their own email and print the label. There really is something to be said for hometown service! Thank you so much!!
Please learn from my experience. I had to learn the hard, expensive way. Frames N’ Things is not transparent in their transactions, business practices, and dealings. They charge 3 to 4 times the rate of a UPS store. This is a critical, vital, and extremely important piece of information that any customer/consumer should be made aware of in order to make an informed decision. A lay person does not know these stores can and do charge an increased rate. A lay person would expect the same rate as any other advertised UPS store. There was no mention of this price gouging by the sales associate, via the receipt, or on an information display. They failed to inform the customer. In fact it was explained to me that the incredible price was due to the fact that the package was being mailed to a military post office located in Hawaii. I understand we live in a rural community. I understand that the volume of mail/business is lower than that of other areas. I understand the store has to pay the UPS corporation for the rights/privileges to mail via their service. I even understand a SLIGHT price increase BUT I do not understand a price gouge - ESPECIALLY when it is not readily transparent or made available. Who in a rural community can afford this? And why aren’t they informing the customer? They are not doing right by the rural community or customer. After mailing, I thought nothing more of it. When the mail person delivered the package he made a comment about the cost. My brother took it to their local franchised (not corporate) UPS store. The package was in a 7x7x7 box (Frames N’ Things charged for an 8x8x8) and it weighed 2 pounds. My brother’s UPS store said it should cost about $26. Our local store charged nearly $84. Dealing with them on the phone was not any more pleasant and their was no satisfactory/adequate explanation for a 3 to 4 times price increase/gouge. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Take it to our local USPS store for a transparent, consistent, fair, and reasonable price.
