I used to shop here, but no longer do due to Games Workshop invalidating Warhammer armies, so it’s no fault of the owner that I’m no longer a customer. Derrick is a great dude and fun to go in and chill with, even if you aren’t gaming or anything. Great place to hang out.
Derrick and his staff are great. Knowledgeable, fair, friendly. Space for games such as BattleTech, Warhammer 40k, Magic the Gathering, Star Wars Unlimited and much more. Great selection of board games and miniature paints as well.
This place was recommended by one of my friends so I decided to check it out. My first few visits were nice and I agreed with the no-scalper policy. Fast forward to yesterday, I see a 151 poster collection and some mini tins. I’m told the poster collection is $30 and each mini tin is $20. The next day, I go to buy another poster collection and a couple of tins which I had passed on the day before. I made my payment without looking at the total because I knew how much they would cost, but I was charged $15 extra. When I visited later that day to ask about the overcharge, I was told that the poster collection is $35 and the tins are $25. I’m not a confrontational person so I just walked away. I never would have bought the tins for more than $20 because that is already double the MSRP, and the poster collection I bought today has a sticker for $30. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding but it’s still a bummer to have overpaid on the items I bought. If you do go here, plainly ask for the price before buying, despite what the stickers say.
