I want to give a specific shoutout to Nate at the Springfield shop! Im not only new to the world of warhammer (other than Rogue Trader) but im new to the world of figures, painting, and battling. I've had the pleasure of working with Nate 3 times now (in a more frequent succession than is probably reasonable) and he has only made me more excited to be part of the community. Not overselling me on things I didn't need, giving me advice on where to start, encouraging the rule of cool, and taking the time to encourage me to go slow and not get overwhelmed. I decided to take the leap into painting yesterday and drove in to buy some stuff. Nate gave me an impromptu lesson in painting practices and set me up with the basics. Nate, if you see this, thank you for all the help! I've now painted my first figure - "Natius the Great"

I have been looking for a hobby store or a game store that had staff who were excited about their games and interested in why customers came in. Nate was exceptional! As my husband and I entered the store, he came right up and made us feel welcome and asked what we were looking for, he was incredibly patient and provided great options for us to learn about the games, offered lots of suggestions for workshops and painting tips in the store, and we walked away as 40 K converts! We will definitely be back, I can’t believe how welcoming he was. Thanks Nate!
Great place for a game or two, decent crowd, helpful staff, and full of Games Workshop products. Great for both casual and competitive 40k/Sigmar. Mr. Walker does a great job in introducing new players to the hobby.
