1. Pricing. 2. CEDH. If you want max value for your card trade-in’s, this is the store to visit. They go above and beyond to be fair. However, they are even more generous in pricing percentage wise than anywhere that I have traded in the country and even Japan. Family oriented environment, but the only true competitive (CEDH) store in the area. If you want to play against the best decks for major tourney prep, go to Geek Galaxy. Only proxy friendly store as well. You will find no money gate keeping here; which leads to better players and decks. This is the spot to be in the Somerset area!
As an avoid magic player I was excited to see another shop locally. However this shop has fundamental issues that come from the top down. For starters event(s) never start on time. The majority of the community for this shop is very casual. They only follow rules when it benefits them. First time I was here I watched two players almost get into a physical altercation over a ruling. The event organizer was slow to step in and squash the drama. The owner is nice but seems disorganized when it comes to his events. I tried to trade in some cards and the red headed guy working said he couldn’t take any trades without the owner being present and acted upset that I interrupted him from playing Forza. The store also had a big cat that wouldn’t leave me alone, I felt like I shouldn’t have to ask to not be scratched by their cat. I personally recommend LGS for anyone looking for a competitive environment. This is a decent shop for casuals or people looking to learn the ropes.
Not a very pleasant environment to try and play, they have kids running around and screaming and a cat that will bother you. Community isn't great and tournaments aren't particularly well ran. I would definitely avoid and go to LGS instead.
