Best place for kits! I stop by here whenever I can. The owner is super awesome and will give you tips and tricks if you need. Always say "hello" to pumpkin when you walk in. I tell all my buddies about the shop too. If you're looking for something you can't find, let the owner know and he'll track it down for you. 5* all the way!
HQ Hobbies is the perfect "candy store" for dyed-in-the-wool hobbyists. They have everything!! This store is straight out of the 1950s in terms of the wide range of hobby products they stock - including tools and supplies for detail-oriented model builders. A rare and vintage find in this ridiculous world of online shopping. Randy...the proprieter...is a great guy, eager to help or to answer questions and is, himself, a model-builder as well!! Randy's prices (especially in light of all the economic chaos) are eminently fair and not at all excessive. Randy is his store's most valuable asset!! I only recently discovered HQ Hobbies and am planning on making repeated visits to augment my tool collection and to find more "treasures" on his shelves.
