I was from Japan. I visited the store at 10:00 AM on August 16th. The store was open, but I was told the TCG (Trading Card Game) section wouldn’t open until 2:00 PM. I was thinking of coming back another day, but the owner kindly opened it for me. I was deeply moved by their incredible kindness. They had a great selection of the Yu-Gi-Oh! cards I was looking for, and I had an amazing time. They even gave me some freebies and took photos—this shop was absolutely fantastic. If you're ever in Los Angeles, be sure to visit, but keep an eye on the time! However, the area around the store isn't very safe, so I recommend using Lyft or Uber for transportation. I took the bus, but the route changed unexpectedly, and several people with strange behavior got on board—it felt a bit unsafe.
Great people working there. Flew all the way from Chile looking for a Yu-Gi-Oh store in Los Angeles after going to Anime Expo, and the people at the store made us feel great. Good selection of cards QCR/Starlight cards at competitive prices and even gave us some OTS packs! The snacks at the store next to the shop were perfect also!
My son and I thought it looked legit but turned out to be a bust. Very low inventory. Very Mexico vibes where they sell anything and everything. Definitely not what we thought from the pics. Parking was the most difficult part.
