We LOVE!!! IGAR!! Amazing owner(s)-- so knowledgeable and kind. Also located in a great location for those right outside of downtown State College! Lots of goodies for TCG players (sleeves, dice, deck boxes) and also a great selection of board games.

I have waited a few years to finally post a review, because when I walked in it felt like love at first sight and that made me initially hesitant. Now, however, after frequenting this shop for a few years and playing and purchasing many great games, I can finally admit that this really is the best shop around. The owner is friendly, caring, and knowledgeable and provides an atmosphere where new and seasoned gamers from all walks of life can feel comfortable. The store is stocked with a variety of games and gaming accessories from board games to TCGs, TTRPGs, and even some miniature games (with space to learn and play them in store.). IGAR is also graced with friendly and helpful clientele on a daily basis. I have met some truly awesome friends here. My only complaint? Needs to be bigger. Visit this store and give them all of your money!
We visited this game shop 2 weeks ago and were delighted! The comprehensive selection of tabletop games and accessories were matched by shop-owner Gordon's extensive knowledge of not only his current inventory, but the gaming industry as a whole. Next we're back in Penn State, we are eagerly returning to IGAR!
