It kinda amazes me how this place can have a bunch of card product but sells it for double or triple then the original price. People are upset with scalpers taking everything but then you have businesses like this that sell it the same way a scalper does and has soooo much product. I kinda wonder where they honestly get it from no wonder all the stores in the area that carry product don’t have anything for MSRP. And don’t get me wrong I know that people need to make do on rent. But I know some places that have the product and add no more than $1-$10 on top of the price to make a little bit of profit. And guess what those places don’t even have that many boxes as places like this one. I think it’s great that they let players play the games and get promo cards. But even there they have issues with people not being able to stay the whole x amount of time to play the game. Like if other people don’t have other stuff to do. And not to mention that you pay to play and if you need to leave for whatever reason you get attitude for it. And get talk down to like your a child. This place is a contradiction.

it’s okay. Better for anything other than Pokemon i guess. Okay selection of singles, scalped prices well above market for both brand new releases and recent products that have seen massive reprints, single packs from boxes are ridiculous. the tournaments hosted are cool, the other game selection is fine. it’s just okay but it’d be nice if they based prices off the market which changes daily. There’s no flexibility at all, even with singles. better options in an area where there isn’t a lot of options
I have mixed feelings about this place. I've only come in here a handful of times & only made three purchases. On one hand they always have pre-release pokémon products, & it's reasonably priced for presale. For example the new Mega evolutions pokémon set. They were selling booster boxes a week early for $209 which is about $150 less than what champion is charging -(TCGplayer presale Market price). The downside is they're trade in percentage. I brought in about $60 worth of cards and was going to use it towards the booster box when The person behind the counter said that they were only going to give me $30 store credit. Apparently for store credit they only do 50% market value which is kind of wild. This is where champion outshines this place. champion generally does 70-80% depending on the card, for store credit. I understand doing 50% trade-in value for cash but for store credit is kind of bonkers imo. Makes me wonder how much they actually pay out for cash. If their store credit payout is 50%, what is their cash payout 15%? Or maybe they don't do cash payments. idk.In the end I wound up keeping my cards & just paid The 209 for the booster box. Also I don't blame them for selling sealed product at market price. The people complaining about that are just being unrealistic. The People that complain about LCS's selling @ market price have no business sense & They're still living in 2023 when you could just nonchalantly walk into a store & buy a 151 ETB for $50 & there would be 10 of them on the shelf. when product is scarce and market prices skyrocket a privately owned company shouldn't be shamed for not selling @ MSRP. they're a privately owned business That generally takes pretty decent losses every year. Where corporate companies like Target, BBY, & GameStop (although GameStop being a franchise), can afford to take substantial losses. GameStop charges 20% above MSRP BTW unless you have their $30 a year membership.
