I have driven to Kowabunga 3-4 times from Milwaukee and enjoyed every visit. Eager and friendly service. An open and inviting space, reading for browsing. And a wide variety of comics, with surprises — like a broad selection of old Heavy Metal magazines. It may be the best comic shop I've visited so far in Wisconsin. I'll be back soon!

Great customer service. The people that run the store are fantastic and very knowledgeable. I was able to find the perfect gift for a friend. They have great selection and a wide selection of various things from comics (Marvel, DC, Indie etc.) to games (video games and board games), action figures, graphic novels, D&D, pokemon merchandise, and other various items. Worth a visit for sure! Or sell them your comics.
This comic shop was solid. Quite big, tons of comics, graphic novels, games, cards, vintage toys, and more. Came here on Batman day which is why he's in some of the photos. 😆 Friendly staff, fairly clean and organized. I would come back for some more bin diving.
