Prices seemed decent. The only person we could tell was an employee sat with his back to the entrance and we stood around waiting to get noticed. I had hopes to go in and tap into the local scene and meet some folks, but in order to have my questions about Friday Night Magic answered I had to leave and call. I'd like to go back, maybe when they're less busy, and give the place another shot.
I was at the rose city comic con this year and I found his booth. He had a great selection of various Pokemon cards and seemed super friendly. I bought a shining fates elite trainer box for $80. As soon as I got back home in Washington, I opened it up the box all excited but lone behold he tampered with the cards and used super glue to reseal the packs...which was painfully obvious by the super glue on the top and bottom on all the packs. They also replaced the holos in some packs with non Holo rares but forgot to take out the green and white code cards to make it even more clear it was tampered with. But the cards he did leave me that were Holos estimated to be under $3. I would not buy anything from these snakes unless you wanna waste your money... go anywhere else for pokemon tcg, it's your best bet.
The man working behind the counter (I wish I'd gotten his name) really knows his stuff and helped me pick out cards to finish up and round out my first homemade commander deck. Great prices on Dragonshield sleeves too ($10 a box of the regular colors, cheaper even than I've seen online). They are also one of the only Magic store I've seen in the last year where people playing inside are actually wearing their masks. I hope to make it in for Friday night Magic next time I get out towards Bend.
