Came here to buy some boxes of cards and I thought them being a pretty good business from my previous shopping experiences there that they would be selling their products at market value like I have known everyone everywhere to do but no they upcharged me about 180 dollars just because they didn’t want to lose money on products they bought, and when I came in and asked about it that’s basically the explanation I got as well. Very good business I guess the sarcasm didn’t really hit with y’all but me saying “very good business” was a complete and utter joke, the fact that y’all would double the price of a box of union arena just because a new player didn’t do a basic search of how much a box cost is absolutely absurd to me, charging someone who is new to a game 180 dollars more then what they should have paid, if you just had said you was super greedy person, would’ve made a whole a lot more sense then duping a new player into paying 180 more dollars then what they should have paid for 4 boxes is crazy to me, but what do I know I’m not a greedy business person who is out to exploit everyone But also you saying whatever about me saying it’s a up charge, it’s 100% a up charge because you aren’t willing to agree that you lost money on products that you bought, like that makes no sense, every store I’ve been to will go by market value no matter what they bought the boxes at, even if they bought them at below market value they sold them only at 10-15 above market price
Hadn't yet been able to visit due to how my timing for being in this area conflicts with their open times, but after seeing the giant machine-generated Poké-slop image stuck proudly outside their window I will unfortunately not be making plans to go out of my way to do so any time soon. If a business can't be bothered to support actual artists and instead have some computer extrude out an image of kinda-sorta-Charizard with kinda-sorta-Ash Ketchum made from the stolen and haphazardly blended work of countless REAL artists, I can't be bothered to support that business with my time and money.
I went in to trade my Pokémon cards with the large man with the shoulder length hair, and I am leaving a bad review for their dishonesty. The store accepts cards at 80% value for store credit, and charges $2.00 more for Pokémon packs. I am ok with this, because I understand local businesses have to make money. We checked our card prices on TCP player, ungraded, and calculated the value at 80% of $116 which is $92. He offered us $62 dollars for our cards, which is at 55% value, LOWER THAN THE CASH PRICE FOR TRADE. Im not mad that the cards diminish value so they can do business, I am ANGRY that this man tried to scam me out of EVEN A cash price for these cards after I decided to come in and do honest business with them. I won't be returning.
