The guy is super helpful and very kind. Sat down with my son and talked with him while going thru cards. Just the experience is worth it
We had a great visit to Montour Baseball Card Shop! The owner was incredibly kind and patient, spending time talking with my son about the players, the history of baseball, and his growing card collection. It’s clear the shop is focused less on quick sales and more on creating a fun and welcoming experience for kids. A perfect stop for young collectors and baseball fans alike!
Honestly I thought the store was kind of cool. I let the gentleman know I’m into modern baseball anything 2020 and above. He proceeded to give me cards from the 1970s. I found a Schmitt that I liked he wanted 5$ for the card which was 5 times over market value. All recent listings sold for 1-2$ he goes by a Beckett book from a long time ago making everything outdated. He did come down on the price from $5 to $2 still lost money on it. After I handed him the money he basically laughed at it because it was only $2s by far the most unprofessional and arrogant and rude. Trust the 1 star reviews and avoid this shop at all costs. Told my girlfriend that she looked like the type of girl who would want a Taylor swift card. Just know if you go here you will be basically paying 5x over market value. So just avoid it all together Hey you did, don’t act like you did not. It’s not my fault that everyone that deals with you has a rough experience.
