You can tell that you are in an expert coin store when you walk in the door. Patrick is is generous with his many decades of collecting knowledge and extremely fair in his business dealings. He respects the customer and has a passion for the product. I sold some estate coins and know that I received a good deal. If you are a coin collector it would be worth your drive from Cullman or Birmingham just to see what he has in the store and add to your collection.
Old coin shops like this are few and far between anymore. The owner said he has been there thirty years and it shows. Lots of clutter and even a little dinginess. But that's what makes it great. I spent two hours here on a trip through the area and wished I had more time to explore. You just didn't know what you would uncover in the place. A good selection of both numismatic and bullion items, plenty of exonumia and supplies. I left with $2000 less cash in my pocket but enjoyed what I bought and the time I spent hunting there. Definitely check it out if you are nearby.
This is the place to buy and sell coins. Over 50 years experience and Patrick has so much knowledge about coins and he is very fair. He knows everyone in the coin business, even the grading companies and this can be very helpful. He can also show you how to spot fakes. I highly recommend this place and Patrick.
