I brought my laptop because the charge port wasn’t charging. The man there said that I could use another port to charge. I purchased another charger at that location. It didn’t work. I took my laptop to a cellphone repair place in Hilo and they were able to replace the port within a week for $135. The tech at that store told me that the previous tech should have known what was wrong and how to fix it. I won’t be back.
Henry, the owner and genius behind Pahoa tech was a lifesaver. He was able to get my iPhone 14 Pro back to working condition after an unfortunate snorkeling accident. I took it to a different shop on the island initially and they weren’t even willing to take a look at it and told me to write it off but I took it to pahoa tech just to get another opinion and Henry more than delivered by fixing a salt water damaged iPhone that I’m currently writing this review from. Couldn’t appreciate his honesty, transparency, and fair pricing enough. Mahalo nui loa!
Hes fixed my phone, he's fixed my computer twice. Dudes good at what he does, simple and precise. Charged me less that what I was expecting for the PC too? I'm a bit dumb when it comes to computers but they've worked smoothly after I got them back Update: okay yeah I'm reconsidering. The prices are still fine but he's been consistently bad at getting back to me when I contact him. I've had to go in person cause I didn't get response for over a week. I get taking a day, maybe 3 but over 7? He's also been t taking a while with the repairs, which i get he's serving a lot of people but over a month to diagnose the problem?
