Had such a great first experience today at the hendo location. Clay was super knowledgeable and really took his time helping us. Left with wayyy more than I was expecting. Shout out my new LCS.
Ive been bringing my kids here a few times a month all Summer. The fellas at the register are awesome. Superchill, always placating my little boy and kind to my daughter. Can't really ask for much more. We're not big spenders (few bucks a visit) so the kindness feels genuine. We appreciate it greatly.
Excellent store for new books and some key back issues. Looks like the back issues are also getting better organized, but still a lot of really neat finds. If anything my only minor complaint is that some of the in-box back issues run a little high (some of those nineties books aren't worth that), but again, minor complaint. Lots of really great stuff here at really good prices. Really friendly staff, as well. Atmosphere was also a plus; really lively and not as cold or sterile as a lot of modern shops.
