Awesome prices, great selection on anime, Pokemon and other TCG. Owner was very courteous. If you are looking for a good selection of Japanese or rare cards you are at the right place.
Came to check out the anime stuff and Pokemon. The variety of figures is pretty limited mostly Re: Zero and some One Piece, but some very cute Pokémon plushies though! The Pokémon binders and cards are rough shape and rather disorganized. Now I hardly expect a store to have all of their cards in perfect order by type or set, but there would be say, vintage English card followed by a modern Japanese card, a Japanese holo, several Korean cards (strangely), and then a mix of modern/vintage English, then old Japanese cards, etc. A bit of organizing would go a long way. Also sadly I have to echo the prior review that a good few of the holos I encountered appeared of dubious authenticity. Can't speak for the commons/loose cards without giving them a closer look, but a word of caution to anyone checking holos. (Not the graded cards, the loose and binder cards) Also the random vintage booster packs hung up on the sides for $3.99 but not for sale and marked as just decoration are kind of strange. Obviously a vintage Team Rocket or Fossil booster pack is worth vastly more than $3.99, thousands even, so why they're just hanging out as a decoration/not for sale at an appropriate price is odd. Worth coming if you're looking for commons and willing to sort through and be choosy.
My daughter and I used to love it here, but now that we know more about Pokemon cards we can absolutely say that this place is selling fake cards. The binder in the middle of the floor is full of them. I wouldn’t trust buying singles either and now I’m questioning the graded cards as well. They also sell a ton of Korean packs and we met several people that thought they were Japanese and were upset. The rare times we saw real packs there (at least we think) they were grossly overpriced, I’m talking WAY over market price. If you’re coming here for vintage toys, they have a great selection. Don’t touch the Pokemon cards at all. Sadly I won’t shop here anymore. I used to drive 45 minutes to get here.
