Among the local card stores, Prowess has the best selection and always has product of some kind in stock, whether it is new sets or legacy. Pricing is generally better than other stores I've been to in my area and the owner and staff are very friendly.
Prowess Gaming is a great little card shop. It's not one of those big, soulless chain stores. The folks who run it really know their stuff, especially when it comes to those "Magic" cards. They've got a good selection and it's a nice place to hang out and play a game or two. They're good people. I recommend 'em.

My partner and I first stumbled in just before they moved to their current location, and I'm so glad we did! Best LGS I've seen, and a nice family running it. Best selection of MTG sealed and singles in CT I've found. Clearly getting community in there to actually play games. Open late. These are the places we want to see succeed.
