An amazing place with even better staffing
Always friendly when we stop in even though it's whenever we are in town.
A week ago my daughter and her father went here to purchase a box of the card game Loracona. They were told that they could pick up the box anytime on Wednesday 11.22.23 when they got the cards in. This is almost a $200 purchase. My daughter left her phone number and said we would be in on Wednesday night. The store opened Wednesday at 11 AM. With work and school we went in when we could at 6 PM. The store owner told us that he tried to text my daughter at 11:30 AM and she never responded so he sold the box he promised to hold. My daughter never received a text and showed him. He didn’t put a 1 before the area code. So it never officially sent. Showed us his phone like that justifies when he didn’t even hold it for 12 hours! If you are going to tell your customers that they can “Pick up anytime that day” yet don’t even give them the whole day, that is just lying and poor business. They deliberately sold the cards out from under my daughter because they wanted a quick sale. She’s disappointed and I’m angry. Hope that sale was worth it, We won’t be coming back.
