Brought my son in as a reward for summer reading and he loved it. It's a well organized store with a lot of options for kids. There are several opened toy stations where kids could try toys. It's a space that encourages kids to take their time and touch/play with the item. Staff make it easy by providing a "giftbag" presentation for those days you just don't have the time to run to another shop for wrapping paper.
I LOVE how helpful the staff is! As soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed help finding anything. I was I. A rush last minute shopping for a birthday gift. They asked her age and pointed me in the right direction showing me ideas. Not only were they super helpful but they wrap the presents saving me even more time!! Wonderful customer service and a fun selection of toys!!
Use to LOVE this store. Lately, the customer service is less than desired. I always feel rushed out the door. Not a pleasant experience. Love supporting local stores, but this one has been less welcoming lately. I stopped in at 5 pm on three separate occasions recently (they close at 6 pm). We are not welcomed with warm smiles or friendly hellos every time but rather told forcefully that we close at 6! Wow, if this is how you value your customers, I'll shop elsewhere. You might be in the wrong business if this is your first approach at welcoming a guest into your building. Very, very sad...
