I grew up in this store and my dad has been with them since their Davison location. I have seen it through crowded times with magic tournaments and dnd groups with upwards of 15 people in on a single game. I have also been there when I was the only one in the store besides the owners. Covid times were hard on everyone and I think only now are really starting to things come back. I want everyone to know that the Red Dragon is still there. They still have a great selection of dice, minatures and roleplaying books from 2nd edition DND to 2024, Pathfinder, Call of Cthluhu and beyond. Still a good place for magic cards and some board games too. No table price for hosting games there and dice are still cheaper than most anywhere else. Mickey and Al have been apart of the gaming industry and community forever. They know so much history and have all the best stories and tips. Looking for something specefic, ask Mickey she may be able to get it in for you. She's always looking for a new board game or what's hot in the ttrpg scene. They are still cash only, but that has never stopped us before. The store still has that small town, small community friendly feel and I like to think that's a part of it.
Owners are very supportive and informative. Amazingly kind people. huge selection of Magic cards, miniatures, dice, and plenty other game related things. they will do their best to order things specifically for you if requested. very easy to spend hours in this shop and not notice the time go by. cash only is the only kicker if you don’t carry any on you. overall 10/10 for me, i will continue to give them my business
Red Dragon is a mom and pop game store catering to their clientele. They have both new and used games and do buy some used products from customers. From dungeons and dragons and path finder to card games, board games and minis they have something for every game. Very friendly, very welcoming, have been there for at least 20 years. Off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip. Bring cash. They do not do plastic.
