After accusing a customer of theft and demanding payment for items not stolen but paid for he tosses the 10 bucks at the guy and threatens trespass and cops... useless.
If you love digging through stacks of nostalgia, Relics in Fort Payne is a hidden gem worth exploring. This small, unassuming shop is packed—literally—with mountains of old movies, DVDs, records, cassette tapes, and even 8-tracks. Baseball cards and other random collectibles pop up among the piles, making every visit a bit of a treasure hunt. The shop is organized chaos at its finest, with items stacked everywhere, giving it that old-school, hole-in-the-wall charm. It’s not the kind of place where everything is neatly categorized, but that’s part of the adventure. If you enjoy sifting through collections, hoping to stumble upon a rare find, this spot will keep you entertained for hours. One of the highlights is the shopkeeper, who is friendly, helpful, and seems genuinely passionate about the collection. They’re happy to chat, help you navigate the stacks, and might even have some hidden gems tucked away. While the store itself is on the smaller side, it packs a serious punch when it comes to variety. Whether you're hunting for vintage media, collectibles, or just want to relive a bit of the past, Relics in Fort Payne is a must-visit for any nostalgia lover.
Store is frequently closed without notice during it’s regularly scheduled hours. This can make for a frustrating day for those I have told to check this place out from out of town. I myself have wasted time driving from out of state, for it only to be closed. The hours should be smaller if needed, but they should be accurate.
