Robot Zero Comics
Trip Review #29 - Robot Zero Comics Great Comic Shop Stop in Geneva, OH I made the drive out to Geneva recently, and to my surprise, there wasn’t any snow—always a win in Northeast Ohio! I stopped in at Robot Zero and had the pleasure of seeing Gloria, a longtime employee who really knows her stuff. The owner, Tony Capo, is currently recuperating from some medical issues, but it sounds like he’ll be back in the shop soon. If you’re heading there to see him, don’t worry—he’ll be back at it shortly. Tony’s been in the comics game for years and is so good at what he does, he actually runs two stores: Robot Zero in Geneva and Comic City in Madison. Both locations get new comics on Wednesdays and feature a solid selection of back issues, non-sports cards, sports cards, toys, graphic novels, wall books, and common supplies. If I lived in Geneva, this would absolutely be my go-to comic store. While chatting with Gloria, she mentioned that both stores will be having a sale this Saturday for Free Comic Book Day—definitely a great time to stop in. As I was heading out, I noticed they have some awesome posters available for just $8, which is a steal. If you’re heading east toward Pennsylvania, both shops are just off I-90, making them perfect stops on a comic crawl. From there, you can backtrack west to check out other stores in Mentor and Willoughby. Tony is a standup guy and has supported NEO ComicCon for years—great to see a local business so involved in the community. Highly recommend checking out both locations!
