I came in to have a look around on what they had while looking for some cards for my collection, but when looking I had a hard time and when I finally asked I realized they were right there and in the most condescending tone the guy at the counter said "It's right there in the case" the clutter everywhere in the store didn't help with this issue either. So overall I would never come back nor recommend this store to anyone else.
I love this store. The owner carries all the good TTRPG stuff, and always gets any available special covers and editions, AND keeps a list so you get a call when they are in and don't miss out. It's a small space, but he does a lot with it. I'm not into CCGs, but if you are, Sanctuary does those too, and has regular in-store events. If you're into any game you play with other people on a table, go spend money at this store so Lafayette doesn't lose another great local business.
Needed to pick up a new comic drop and decided to check out Sanctuary. The owner is incredibly kind and very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to get me what I needed and it is veyond appreciated. They have a great selection of board games at a very fair price. I will absolutely be returning for any tabletop and comic needs.
