A great store to play at with plenty of clean space available for gaming. The Owner is quite fun to talk with, especially about Magic: The Gathering. They also sport weekly events, so it's a great place to meet new gamers and make new friends.
Place is under new (younger) ownership which will hopefully liven up the place, but some serious work needs to be put into the look and cleanliness of the shop as well as what they are stocking. Emphasis has been placed on play space which was severely lacking before, but their stock is all over the place. My friends and I were looking for Pathfinder books but they only had a few, and didn't have any core rule books which is just odd. Also I know Warhammer prices suck to begin with, but some of these were just exorbitant. Prices on the same box of models would differ by as much as $6 depending on how it was marked. Wanted to pick up some premade decks of Innestrad Magic Cards but they were out. I mean, there is a painting of a dragon and a Wizard playing Magic on the front of the store, why would you be out of something like this? The change of ownership is still relatively new so will give it some time.
Scholars has recently change ownership and the new owner is a bit of a gamer himself which means he is knowledgeable about much more of his products even many he doesn't play. Small details are still being touched up but the store has become a great place to get any in production non-electronic game product. Also has a decent in store snack selection and several good nearby spots to grab a bite.
