I have lived in several cities and have visited just about every game store in town and I can confidently say that this is my favorite spot to play, buy, and sell trading cards. The community here is well build, welcoming, and excited to see anyone show interest in one of the many games available. The staff exemplifies this and are perfect examples of what it means to be welcoming, fair, and encouraging for all players of all ages. Especially Cayle. I have seen the staff interact with the youngest of players to the oldest and they are always honest, inviting, excited, and respectful. Amazing store and community.
The guys over at SK are great! Definitely recommend checking them out they have a good selection of cards, games and collectables as well as all your D&D book needs. My go to spot in Lubbock for sure!
In the 10+ years of time I’ve spent playing multiple trading card, video, and board games across multiple states competitively and casually, no one else does it like SK. I basically made it my second home because the staff is so friendly and inviting and knowledgeable at what they do. I temporarily moved away from the area and have actually planned a trip to go across the country JUST to make time to go back into this shop to see the friends I’ve made and play games in the best community I know. Take that how you will, but I think SK has just made that big of an impact on me and I’ve loved it ever since.
