went in a giant group of nerds into a bunch of different stuff and we were all so excited!! SO much to look through and the owner is so genuine and sweet, great prices too. absolutely made everyone’s week, we still talk about how amazing they were :)
Spud's Emporium is more than a store; it is an institution. It's like the bar on Cheers, where everybody knows your name, and the employees can tell you about things that you will love that you never even knew existed. Whether it's a parent trying to find comic books that will get their child interested in reading, or 20-somethings looking for a board game/card game that be fun for a party of 8 but be easy enough to play while drunk, Spud always knows exactly what it is you need. A family friendly environment where you don't have to be afraid to bring your kids, but still a place that is fun enough that an adult can game for an evening with friends and have an enjoyable time. Spuds has it all. Stop on by and join the family.
Spuds has always been an iconic staple here in southeast Iowa as one of the best small independent businesses around. No One, has more in depth knowledge about comic books and collectors memorabilia.
