Serving gamers since 2000 in Staunton, Virginia — built on decades of convention hustle by founders Harry and Susan Shiflett, who spent the 1980s and 90s bringing games up and down the East Coast. From a single convention table to a full brick-and-mortar, The Dragon’s Hoard is a community hub with one of the most diverse selections in the region. The Dragon’s Hoard has been serving gamers since 2000, when our doors first opened in Staunton, Virginia. But our story began long before then. Harry and Susan Shiflett were traveling up and down the East Coast as early as the 1980s, bringing tabletop roleplaying games and accessories to conventions and building a reputation for passion, expertise, and a love of gaming that continues to this day.
