
I’m honestly really disappointed. I drove about three hours round trip for an event that was listed on their page — it sounded like a fun, unique draft (not just the usual kind), and I planned my Friday around it. When I got there, I was the only person who showed up. This actually happened the last time I came here about a year ago too, so it’s pretty frustrating that nothing seems to have changed. I get that the owner probably cares about the store and is trying, but it feels like there’s just no effort to build or maintain a community. Scheduling events on the same day and time as every other nearby store doesn’t help, and there’s no communication or promotion to make sure events actually happen. It’s a shame because the store itself seems fine, but at this point I wouldn’t recommend making a long trip or planning around one of their events unless you can confirm ahead of time that it’s actually happening.

Hi. Pretty disappointed by the customer service. My husband has supported the store for years and a reserved copy of Thunder’s Edge was sold. He was looking forward to that for months. Sorry, Portal, but you may have lost a longtime customer. We could have ordered it anywhere else, but we did it through you because we wanted to give you the business. 🤷🏻♀️
