I really want to like Weis, but the lack of staffed checkouts really gets to me. Even on Sundays, after church, they rarely have a lane open. I hate self checkout when I have more than a few items. The other is tge front libe employees complain to customers. Weird behavior, and makes me feel like an old cranky person. Food Lion doesn't do this. The location is also more expensive for the same products as other stores in the general area. The other odd thing is the number of times Ive been in this location and there are too many "suits" working the store, but they just end up being in the way of customers. If we cannot shop while you are publicly lecturing hourly employees, we won't come back often. It is not a good look.
I actually went to Potomac Marketplace because a friend was looking for a specific item from Sephora. The retail clerk was very knowledgeable and was able to assist my friend with what she was looking for.
Great alternative to Leesburg shopping. Easy to get to and there seems to be more variety in the stores. Definitely love the less hectic feeling.
