The owner intimidated my wife into selling her Pokemon Cards that she did not wish to sell. After 15 minutes of looking through them he asked what she wanted, he said what is she looking for. She said she wanted to look them up and bring them back and he said she couldn't and that she would be wasting his time if she did that, very aggressively. She then immediately felt obligated and trapped. He also had a man come into the shop and stand by as he was looking through them and who immediately left right after she reluctantly agreed to sell them. He gave her $180 for cards worth $1000's of dollars. He took advantage of her and I am disgusted with this business and his intimidation tactics. (Reply to your response Mr.Owner) We definitely said we wanted to look them up and bring them back and you said "No, you're not bringing them back here". And that we would have wasted your time. I have the entire thing on video as well. I record everything for various reasons. You then had placed higher value cards in the 'dollar' pile and after she went through them looking for a specific Trainer card and we looked her up, she went from being worth $1 by you to $35. As for the gentleman, he came in as you went thru the cards, stood there talking to you the entire time, bought nothing, and left immediately after she said she would sell them. We said MULTIPLE times we wanted to look the cards up and then bring them back and give you an offer based off of that, and you said NO, and continued to push and push and get aggressive about it. You should have simply said that was OUR choice to make. I ASKED you how much they were worth not once but TWICE and you REFUSED to tell us. You even flipped your notepad upside down when we stepped back to the glass so we couldn't see how much they WERE worth! YOU are in the wrong and honestly, it's just a lesson learned. Do our research before we go trusting somebody we don't know.

I'm from a smaller area that doesn't have anything like Toy Hunters. Tony & his family provides a really cool place for people of all ages with items from different eras. If you're into action figures, retro gaming, trading card games, toys & collectibles there something for everyone. Located in the Mansfield/Ontario area it makes for a great day trip with plenty of restaurants & other shopping located near by. Toy Hunters is a great mom & pop brick and mortar, give them a chance if you're in the area.
