Went in last week, not a very welcoming environment from the staff that were present. Shoot if my job was selling and buying cards all day id be ecstatic! Smiles are free brotha, if you're getting 400$ worth of cards at 220 at least look like your happy to be there, acting like im the one getting your cards at 65% haha. Have a good one, i will be taking my cards elsewhere ✌️
Awesome selection, and the staff are generally cool but today i did not feel that. I put a card to the side i didnt want to trade and said if it was needed id add that or a psa 10 i had on top instead. Ended up adding the psa 10 and dude kept the venusaur! And then when I re counted up my trade value, which should have been 207$ (originally closer to 375$). I was only at 197$. I respectfully left im not gonna crash out over 10$. I even apoligized for coming back in and making the trade more complicated. I dont mind because i got awesome cards haha.But i thought id leave a review for the principle, i have a hard time approaching people in general, so when someone decides to start getting confrontational when i was trying to show the math i had written down and you dont even let a brotha speak. It really makes me not wanna to come back in. I dont know if it was an off day because they're usually my go to for their cool staff. But today was somewhat of an exception. Hope your week gets better over there, but i will be taking my cards and time somewhere a little more approachable in the future.✌️
I have been coming to the shop since February of this year and have gone back every month to consistently buy a bulk set of vintage Pokémon cards. This shop is owned by a family that are some of the most kindest, sincere and loving people have ever met. Each time I came back, the deals got better and even sweeter. The amount of vintage cards and modern cards they have is unfathomable, and they hold tournaments every week. If you plan to bring your children, friends or yourself here, this is the spot to go to in San Diego hands-down.
