Always interested in Warhammer and played tons of video games and read the books but the table top hobby seemed too difficult to get into. Erik the store owner made me feel very welcome and was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely recommend the store to any one who has any interest in getting into Warhammer and it always seems full of people enjoying the hobby in one form or another.

The manager was super kind and helpful and there was a healthy amount of people in the store playing games and chatting (I was there on a Saturday). Some tabletop games/communities have garnered a reputation for being "gatekeep-y", but the vibe at this location was a polar opposite---extremely welcoming. The folks in attendance were all ages, and as I browsed the shelves I heard advice and compliments about game strategy and paint jobs on minis :) if you have any interest in Warhammer, definitely recommend this location!
We were surprised to find a Warhammer store in Glenview, IL so we stopped in to check it out. It is a small store with games, books, models, hobby tools, paints and kits, etc. There was a small group hanging out and chatting about gaming and painting and model building and some of them brought their own models to share with the group. Manager was sociable and welcoming. We bought some new released books. The store gives free lessons on painting techniques and is a good source for new releases and hard to find items.
