The young man working at the store was very understanding of my ignorance overall. One thing led to another and now I'm building myself and AoS army! 10/10 would recommend. In other news, Springfield has some amazing barbecue spots as well!
Had a wonderful time here, would absolutely recommend it to beginners like myself. Me and my friend were treated very kindly by Sugi who gave us a good run down of the game and even had us paint mini figures in store!
TRY IT OUT! I'll be honest, as a young woman I'd normally avoid tabletop game stores. It's awful dealing with body odor or social awkwardness. But, FEAR NOT! THIS STORE HAS NEITHER! Sugi (I hope I'm spelling that right), the store owner, really knows what he's doing with this place. Immediately after opening the door, I could smell a soft but pleasant scent. Then, Sugi waved and gave me the warmest welcome I've ever gotten in a retail store. Immediately, I felt safe. He gave my friend and I through a quick TLDR on Warhammer, let us paint a figurine each for free, and guided us through the nuance so we never felt lost or unsupported. As a human, there is nothing more whole than hearing someone talk about something they're passionate about. Walk into this store with an open mind and a soft heart and I promise you will find that.
