Founded with a deep passion for comics, creativity, and community, Zia Comics has grown into a premier destination for all things nerdy in the Southwest. Zia Comics was founded in 2012 with one clear mission: to bring together fans of comics, gaming, and pop culture in a space that feels like home. What started as a small local shop in Las Cruces, New Mexico quickly grew into a thriving center for fandom, thanks to the support of an amazing community and a team dedicated to spreading the love of geek culture. Over the years, we’ve expanded our offerings, hosted countless events, and proudly supported the growth of local artists, writers, and gamers. We even opened a second location in Alamogordo to spread pop culture to the other side of the mountains. Our name, inspired by the Zia symbol representing community and harmony, reflects our roots and our commitment to being more than just a store—we’re a family.
