Great people working there! Very friendly and knowledgeable in fixing devices! I brought in a device that the tip of a headphone jack broke off inside it. I had tried multiple times to get it out with no success and actually made it worse. I figured it was a lost cause. But at the game garage, Presley was quick to take a look and had it fixed in less than 10 min. I was shocked and grateful. If you have a broken device - take it here first, you won't regret it. I will gladly go see them again for anything else that needs fixing!
If you're looking for any games or consoles, I highly recommend you visit The Game Garage! I visited for the first time recently and I would definitely come back when I'm looking for games or consoles! Both Griffin and Presley are so welcoming and helpful. There's a lot of cool stuff here, beyond just games. Their coffee is really good! Even though a game store may not be the first place you look for coffee, you should definitely stop by for a latte. If you're looking for repairs here, just keep in mind that they may not always be able to but it's worth checking in. Griffin helped fix a handheld that is very special to me –while clueing me in on the issues he found– and I'm so grateful for it. Thank you Game Garage! I look forward to visiting again.
This place is AMAZING! You can find a TON of amazing games, titles, systems, guides, accessories and fun little pins, toys, figures and more. They offer services and repairs on consoles, controllers and can even replace internal batteries inside gameboy color games. This place has something for everyone, even nostalgic 80s & 90s kids can reclaim pieces of their childhood gaming days with all the classic titles/systems that are offered here. They take pride in what they offer. With a physical store in the area, you're no longer limited anymore to the risk of shady ebay/online purchases that offer little to no guarantees. Having a physical store with so many classics, you'll walk out with a working console/working games and you'll know up front the condition of what you are purchasing. I hope to see this place continue to grow and succeed. If you've ever enjoyed gaming, stop by and check this place out. It's a hidden gem for sure, never expected to find such an awesome place hiding in Spartanburg!
